The Blaes Family
John and Becky Blaes are co-owners and operators of J and B PREMIER PUPPIES. Also pictured are their sons, Andrew and Adam.
John specializes in row crop agriculture and for many years owned and operated a computer hardware business. He served 8 years on the Cherryvale USD #447 School Board. Awarded the 2006 "Crew Chief" award by Mo-Kan Dragway, he is also the head mechanic for "Blaes Racing". John is the operations director for J and B PREMIER PUPPIES.
Becky was a professional educator in the fields of foreign language and music performance for over 20 years and was nominated for the Kansas Teacher of the Year and Pittsburg State University Young Educator Awards. She has served in leadership positions in various educational capacities and presently serves as Chairperson and Animal Breeder Representative of the Governor appointed Kansas Pet Animal Advisory Board and as a member of the Board of Directors in the Kansas Pet Professionals organization. Becky is the breeding, puppy care, and sales coordinator for J and B PREMIER PUPPIES. Her other passion is showing Quarter Horses in AQHA Western Pleasure classes.
 Andy graduated from Pittsburg State University in May of 2009, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. He is presently working as a Critical Care/Emergency Room Nurse. He has been accepted at Wichita State University where he plans to complete a Masters degree as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. A former All-League, All-Regional, and All-State Honorable mention Football Linebacker, he now concentrates on his skills in drag racing his Terhune Dragster. Andy earned the honor of "Super Pro Rookie of the Year" at Mo-Kan Dragway his first year in this class and has earned a top 5 or top 10 spot in Super Pro every year that he has participated. He uses his keen artistic abilities to hand carve and paint custom wooden duck decoys and to create customized images using many different media.
 Adam has been accepted to the School of Pharmacy at the University of Kansas for the fall of 2011 where he will pursue the Doctor of Pharmacy degree. A member of Phi Theta Kappa (International Honor Society of the Two-Year College), the National Honor Society, and earning the Kansas Honors Scholar award from the University of Kansas and Class Salutatorian for his Senior class, he also excelled as an offensive and defensive football lineman, earning All-League and All-Regional honors. Earning the title of "Sportsman Rookie of the Year", a spot in the top 5 in 2005 with a 1964 Chevy Chevelle Malibu, and a top ten honor in the 2009 Super Pro division with his pride and joy, a 1955 Chevrolet, Adam has proven that he can defnitely hold his own! He enjoys training hunting dogs, fishing, and hunting.
