2001 Terhune 4 Link Dragster
Driver: Andy Blaes
With a 565 cubic inch Chevy motor, this dragster makes a powerful 1000 horsepower. It is fuel injected and runs a time of 4.80 seconds in the 1/8th mile at 143 miles per hour. Though rarely raced in the 1/4 mile, it has run 7.63 seconds at 176 mph at this distance. She runs on alcohol and burns 2 gallons in an 1/8th mile pass. This dragster runs in the Super Pro or Electronics class with a computerized delay box that is set before each round, telling the car when to launch from the starting line.

1955 Chevy
Driver: Adam Blaes
This car has a 406 Chevy small block engine and turns 700 horsepower. The rear end is a Ford 9 inch with 4.86 gears. A chassis car, which is an after market frame to reduce the car's weight, it tops the scales at only 2,150 pounds. The front clip, trunk lid, and doors are all fiberglass. This door car will also run in the Super Pro (Electronics) class, indicating that it, too, has a computerized delay box. John and Adam purchased the car's frame and, after several months of joint labor, they built a car that will make its first race with Adam at the wheel in 2007.

1974 Chevy Nova
Driver:  Andy Blaes

Like the 1955 Chevy, this was also a chassis car, weighing 2300 pounds and boasting a 512 big block Chevy motor which made 850 horsepower.  An Oldsmobile rear end with 4.56 gears, it ran 5.56 seconds in the 1/8th mile at a speed of 126 mph.  In the 1/4 mile, it ran 8.71 seconds and a top speed of 157 mph.  A true crowd pleaser, this car loved to do wheel stands.  It was replaced by the 2001 Terhune Dragster.

1964 Chevy Chevelle Malibu
Driver:  Adam Blaes

Restored by John and Andy, this was the first drag car for both Andy and Adam.  It ran in Sportsman and No Electronics classes (no computerized delay box), with a 383 stroker motor, making about 450 horsepower.  A 12 bolt rear end with 4.11 gears, this car ran 12.50 seconds in the 1/4 mile.  This car was street legal, and could be seen cruising the streets on beautiful summer evenings and for special city events.  Sold and replaced by Adam's 1955 Chevy, it holds many fond memories for the Blaes family.
